Finger Licking Foodie Tours doesn’t believe in always saving the best for last. In its next specially focuses food tour, it shifts dessert from the last bite to the main attraction. On April 2, it will host “Best Desserts in Vegas,’’ a whirlwind tour to four of the city’s most acclaime restaurants to indulge in the dreamiest of sweet treats.
This 3-hour extravaganza, which begins at 4:30 p.m., is limits to the first 35 register guests. It is part of a series of focuses food tours, especially designs for locals who crave a deep dive into a specific cuisine or food theme. Like previous focuses food experiences, which all sold out, this one comes complete with immediate seating at each venue to enjoy one to two sensational sugary creations at each establishment, complete with VIP service.
This special event is limits to the first 35 registers guests. Price is $150 per person. A $75 optional beverage package provides for a pre-select specialty cocktail at each restaurant that pairs perfectly with dessert.
Las Vegas: Just Desserts
The tour kicks off at Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris resort with the celebrates British chef’s take on the iconic sticky toffee pudding, serves warm and garnish with brown sugar toffee, and brown butter ice cream. The beverage package provides a glass of Kracher Beerenauslese Cuvee Burgenland, an Austrian dessert wine with notes of peach and quince that boasts a spicy finish.
Next, it’s on to Spago by Wolfgang Puck at the Bellagio Hotel to sink into the lofty, airy dark chocolate souffle with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Save room for the second Just Desserts of “Spike Lemon,’’ a chiffon cake adorne with citrus mousse, and cream infuse with yuzu, the intensely fragrant Japanese citrus. The beverage-package pairs it all with an espresso – but in doubly potent martini form.
Then, it’s on to Mastro’s Ocean Club at The Shops at Crystals for one of its most famous dishes, the signature warm butter cake. It’s no wonder people can’t get enough of this warm, rich butter pound cake fill with sweet cream cheese, then crown with vanilla bean ice cream, raspberry sauce, orange supremes, dice strawberries, and a fluff of whippe cream. Choose the beverage package, and a showstopping Dry Ice Lemon Drop martini will present at the table. A blend of lemon-infuse vodka, Cointreau, and sour, it arrives with a flourish of dramatic fog.

Guests then hop aboard Finger Licking Foodie Tours’ complimentary shuttle to Chica at the Venetian to experience a little heat with the sweet. There’s “The Corn,’’ a unique strawberry flan cheesecake with graham cracker chili crumble and raspberry tajin. That’s follows by the unforgettable “The Flaming Skull.’’ Get ready as Corporate Executive Pastry Chef Jessica Scott delivers a warm lava cake with horchata ice cream, fresh fruit, and corn marshmallows that she’ll set aflame at the table. It’s hard to top that, but the beverage package’s “Churro Shot’’ makes the perfect finale. The Mexican and Spanish coffee drink of Jaja Reposado, Amaretto, espresso, and Licor 43 is served on ice with a delectable cinnamon sugar rim.
