According to a survey by Cuvée aimed at gaining insight into what we can expect in 2022, these types destinations and choices are inspiring travel plans these days:
- Western Dude Ranches: Western-style ranches, commonly referred to as dude ranches, are growing in popularity and will continue to be a sought-after luxury vacation experience throughout 2022. These immersive ranch destinations are also trending with the rise of the extremely popular TV show, Yellowstone, which will debut its third season this November.
- Pet-Travel: Travelers continue to choose destinations, hotels, and stays that are pet-friendly or offer pet packages. Mueller shares that “More than 50 percent of our guests travel with their dogs.”
- Travel to Italy: Based on the high-demand for Cuvée’s Italian villas in Lake Como and Tuscany, Mueller has seen an uptick in travel to Italy not only within Cuvée properties, but the travel industry as a whole. Mueller predicts Italy as a hotspot for 2022 travel.
- Ditching the City: Travelers are trading the city for wide-open spaces. We see lots of people opting for experiences in nature or small towns near National Parks.
To these points, with ranch vacations on the domestic bucket list, Cuvée is debuting a newly transformed masterpiece just outside of Denver. Triple C Ranch took $500 million dollars and used it to put in new villa additions that will be ready to go early next year. The design motif infuses the property’s rich history with the beauty of the 250 acres surrounding this retreat in Silverthorne, Colorado.
Triple C Ranch is a unique and truly private ranch experience, complete with authentic custom design and wowing culinary offerings and all manner of outdoor amenities.
The Ranch’s two expansive lodges were built with refurbished logs from the Eastern plains of Colorado bearing mountain-chic interiors, sleek bar features, signature Cuvée beds and refined bathroom suites. Hosting up to 16 guests, the design leverages the ranch’s history and elevates it to a 6-star standard with open living areas and wraparound terraces with panoramic mountain views. Elk Lodge welcomes guests with wide open spaces for entertaining complete with a chef’s kitchen.
Equine Experiences in the Rockies
The Rocky Mountain sanctuary is owned by an acclaimed equine family and home to award-winning horses. Riding lessons, trail rides with picnic lunches, grooming and tacking lessons, and rodeo and roping demonstrations are all on the menu.
Culinary Experiences Call
Custom menus with paired wines and cocktails reflecting the elevated cuisine of the America west include such choices as local bison short rib, smoked trout canapes and cheddar biscuits with local whipped butter or Palisade peach jam. From al fresco trail ride lunches to Michelin-star worthy dinners, the culinary experience at Triple C Ranch by Cuvée is a key attraction.
Located 90 minutes west of Denver, Triple C Ranch offers a complete world full of private chef experiences and organized ranch activities, including horseback riding, fly fishing, ATV trails, hiking, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Pricing starts at $14,375 per night for up to 16 guests and includes curated ranch activities, premium wines, craft cocktails anda dedicated onsite concierge. Currently available: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
As we reflect on the last nine months of rescheduled vacations, made-up honeymoons, and long awaited reunions, we are taking stock of just how much COVID-19 has redefined travel around the world. Now the question is, what will travel look like in 2022?
“Looking to 2022, travelers are now, more than ever, seeking private, immersive getaways that allow them to soak in much-needed family time while refining some of their hobbies they may have picked up during lockdown,” says Larry Mueller, CEO of bespoke luxury travel provider, Cuvée.
